AWS Technical Essentials

AWS Technical Essentials is an introductory-level course designed to give users the basics of cloud computing on Amazon Web Services (AWS). This course provides a strong foundation of AWS core services and fundamental principles, giving new users the resources to confidently get started building cloud-based applications in the AWS environment.
The course is an ideal starting point for demonstrations and hands-on labs; it is designed to engage users of all levels, from beginners to advanced users, by introducing the foundational concepts of cloud computing with AWS, including basic architectural principles, core services, and how to interact with AWS using the AWS Management Console, Command Line Interface (CLI), and Software Development Kit (SDK).
By taking this course, users can expect to learn the fundamentals of core services such as Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2), Amazon S3, Amazon DynamoDB, Amazon Elastic Block Store (EBS), and Amazon Virtual Private Cloud (VPC). Additionally, this course will teach users how to deploy applications on AWS, how to troubleshoot platform issues, and best practices for security and compliance in the AWS environment. After completing this course, users should have the skills and knowledge necessary to build, test, deploy, and manage AWS-based solutions
The course consists of a series of lectures, demonstrations, and hands-on labs. The lectures are designed to provide a broad overview of the core AWS services, after which participants will be guided through several hands-on labs. The labs are designed to help participants practice their knowledge, develop familiarity with the AWS service, and gain the skills and confidence needed to build and maintain their own AWS-based applications.
